Energy in Motion. Light in Sound.
A Dutch artist from the north of the Netherlands, David grew up surrounded by music. With a father who was a passionate House fan, he was introduced to rhythm and sound from the very beginning. Dancing and listening with attention to detail soon became his second nature.
Influenced early on by video games, David was introduced to genres such as Trance, Drum & Bass, Electro and Techno. As a teenager, during his skateboarding years, he became part of the booming wave of UKF Dubstep and Drum & Bass. Soon after, Hardstyle caught his attention, quickly evolving into Rawstyle before Hardcore ultimately took over.
The harder edge of electronic music became his true passion. Later, David immersed himself in the Techno scene, promoting events and connecting deeply with its culture. Not long after, he discovered Psychedelic Trance, a sound that resonated with every fiber of his being, and has stayed with him ever since.
For Psyfro, music is more than sound. It is therapy, a gateway and the entrance to his inner universe.

Through Psytrance he expresses light, energy, and emotion. Translating them into powerful performances: like a superhero straight from a comic book, that takes listeners beyond the ordinary world. Every sound, every layer, every rhythm is a color he sees and a feeling he shares.
With his sets, Psyfro tells stories full of adventure, character and intensity. Always searching for the deeper connection, he invites the crowd into his second dimension, a place where energy flows freely, and music becomes a religion of its own.
